Cool river pools fifteen minutes away, or the Mediterranean in half an hour — here's where you can go for a swim.
The closest sand beach, in a nice cove reached by a 10-minute walk. The beach can be reached from the Corso a Toscanini (parking can be tough in high season) or from the new marina in Ventimiglia: face the water, walk to the right, and there is an exit that leads to the beach.
Open in Google MapsNew beach with cliffs around it, also home to a private beach club (as is the next-door beach, Darsena). Good for snorkelling, or splurging on a boozy day in a slightly overpriced beach club.
