A short mountain loop from Rifugio Allavena at Colle della Melosa, below Monte Toraggio and Monte Pietravecchia — with views over the dam and its lake, then back along a forest trail.

A pleasant circular walk from the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes near Pigna, through Passoscio and its sanctuary, and back around Colle Mirabello (690 m).
Down to the old stone bridge over the river, then up a shady paved mule path to Perinaldo — out and back. The local classic; the path begins at a small sign painted on a stone.

A rewarding loop from Pigna through forest up to the viewpoint of La Sella, with views over the valley and out to the sea.
A spectacular high-mountain loop from Colle della Melosa: along the Sentiero degli Alpini, carved into the rock on the French border, to the summits of Monte Toraggio (1,973 m) and Monte Pietravecchia (2,038 m) — the highest peaks in the area, with huge views from the Alps to the sea.
